| Caledonian Geotech, in support of its aim to provide a "one-stop
shop", owns a considerable amount of data gathering and processing equipment. This
can be housed on the different platforms which have been specifically designed and
developed for the purpose, to enable data to be collected accurately and cost effectively,
both on land and in the marine environment. |

| RS "Discovery
Rose" is a 44 tonne Baltic Ice Class vessel, registered in Hull, having been
converted for our needs in 1992. Her shallow draught, specifically designed commodious
wheelhouse, and on-board accommodation facilities, make her the ideal vessel for inshore
surveys (out to 20 km), where a loadlined vessel is required. |
|
The mobile office, with its high ground clearance, provides a near all-terrain command and communication centre. Its on-board computer, plotting and drawing facilities enable on-site data interpretation and analysis thereby ensuring that data collection has been achieved to the desired standard before the complete resource is de-mobilised.

| "Surveyor II" is
a 9 metre long, purpose built, amphibious vessel. Ideal for inshore survey work and as a
diver support vessel - this vessel can work where few others can.

| "Thalassine Discovery" is our
purpose built, jack up drilling platform. With a maximum leg length of 19.5m, an equipment
load capability of 15 tonnes and a diesel hydraulic jacking mechanism, the rig has a push
capacity of 96 tonnes. The rig can be transported on two 40' and one 60' trailer and has
been designed to be assembled in just two hours. Uses include vibrocoring, gravity coring,
jet probing and over-water drilling operations.
